Crystal balls tap into your psychic centres, we all have these as spiritual beings and nobody is incapable of developing their psychic sight, all it takes is patience and practice. What you see in the crystal is your own psychic side manifesting itself through images to help you. When using the crystal ball try to have in mind a question or task you want to accomplish.

Procedure: As always, it is best be in a comfortable place and to be relaxed. If possible dim the light or use a sixty watt light bulb, this helps to avoid distracting reflections in the crystal. You need to have the crystal about a foot away from your eyes or differ this slightly if short-sighted. The point is to be able to see the ball clearly. You can place the ball on a stand, on cloth or simply hold it. The next step is to look into the crystal for about fifteen minutes. During this process all that is likely to happen is the ball will move in and out of focus. This is the first step, on subsequent sessions other effects will happen. Other sessions will likely lead to you seeing a kind of fog covering the crystal like a cloud and in this colours and lights may flicker; this is the beginning of your psychic abilities showing themselves. In this session or another the cloud will break at times revealing tantalising glimpses of people, faces, landscapes or objects.

This is the breakthrough point and you now begin the sometimes long task of separating and making sense of these images. Practice will help the images to become very life like as if watching a video recording. But even then you have to make sense of these. What you should find happening is that the images correspond to the questions in your mind and they help to answer these questions. More advanced practice could lead to you actually opening up a channel between yourself and the spirit world with the crystal acting as a mirror of that other world. Other dimensions and even planets could in theory be contacted, the scope is limitless. But always remember the two key factors to success are perseverance and consistency.

Please remember that it takes time to develop and refine your skills, most people have a few goes then give up. They will never have a chance, you must practice and practice, crystal gazing is an art, one that must be worked at just like you would work for years to gain an Honours Degree, the same is true for the crystal ball.

Another way of using the ball is to have a question in mind, then follow the techniques above but this time you are to watch for colours not pictures as some people find colours speak to them better, the following list should help you understand what the colours are telling you:

So if your question in mind is “should I change my job” and you get the colour black this would suggest “new beginnings” and therefore a move would be good.

White: Encouragement

Red: Perseverance, Survival, Fight for rights, Power, Liberation

Orange: Strength, warmth, positivity, freedom

Brown: Earth, moderation, solidness, grounding

Yellow: Expanding, confidence, justice, tolerance

Gold: Future, wisdom, triumph, money

Green: Relationships

Blue: Spiritual, thinking, contemplation

Purple: Purification

Black: New Beginnings, Unknown
